Knuckles: Christopher Lloyd, Cary Elwes, Stockard Channing & more join TV series cast

Christopher Lloyd, Carl Elwes, Stockard Channing & more join the cast of Knuckles, the Sonic the Hedgehog spin-off TV series.

I’ll admit to believing that the Sonic the Hedgehog movie would join the ranks of the many video-game movie failures, but here we are, with a sequel released last year and another on the way. There’s also a spin-off TV series centered around Knuckles with Idris Elba once again voicing the character. The cast of the Knuckles TV series has now added five new members.

Christopher Lloyd (Back to the Future), Cary Elwes (The Princess Bride), Stockard Channing (Grease), Paul Scheer (Veep), and Rob Huebel (Children’s Hospital) have joined the cast of the Knuckles TV series. The nature of their characters remains unknown at this time. Previously announced cast members include Adam Pally, who will be reprising the role of Wade Whipple, as well as Edi Patterson, Julian Barratt, Scott Mescudi, and Ellie Taylor. Rory McCann and Tika Sumpter will also guest star in the series, with Sumpter reprising her role of Maddie from the movies.

The Knuckles TV series will be set between the events of Sonic the Hedgehog 2 and Sonic the Hedgehog 3. According to the official logline, the series will follow Knuckles as he “agrees to train Wade as his protégé and teach him the ways of the Echidna warrior.Sonic the Hedgehog 2 co-writer John Whittington wrote the script for the Knuckles pilot and will serve as head writer and executive producer on the series. Jeff Fowler, who helmed both Sonic movies, will direct the pilot and also serve as executive producer. Neal H. Moritz, Toby Ascher, and Idris Elba are also onboard the series as executive producers, with Ged Wright, Brandon Trost, Jorma Taccone, and Carol Banker directing the remaining episodes of the series.

Knuckles will debut on Paramount+ in late 2023, with Sonic the Hedgehog 3 slated to hit theaters on December 20, 2024.

As Pride Month Continues, New Survey Finds Workplaces Can Be Proud – But Still Have Work to Do
A new study from The Harris Poll Thought Leadership and Futures Practice assesses how LGBTQIA+ employees feel about their employers.

June is Pride Month, a time when lesbian, gay, bisexual, transgender, queer, intersex, and asexual people celebrate their culture and their efforts to gain equal rights in society. However, a new survey and report this month from The Harris Poll Thought Leadership and Futures Practice finds that the country's LGBTQIA+ employees still fear prejudice - while most say their workplaces are headed in the right direction, most of the workers themselves are not yet "out," fearing reprisals or career hurdles.

The findings come in "Inclusive Insights: LGBTQIA+ and Work," which is based on an online study by The Harris Poll conducted between May 26 and June 1, 2023, of a 1,110 sample of LGBTQIA+ adults aged 18 and over in the United States.

"As the nation celebrates Pride Month, our research found that people in the LGBTQIA+ community do feel they have reason to celebrate, with most feeling that their employers are taking steps to support them personally and professionally," said Tim Osiecki, Senior Research Manager at The Harris Poll Thought Leadership and Futures Practice. "However, it also shows that most people in the community still don't feel comfortable in the workplace to truly be themselves, and that those issues are even more prevalent among certain groups."

The survey found that just four in 10 (41%) of queer employees are out to their coworkers, and even fewer (37%) are out to their supervisors or on professional-oriented social media like LinkedIn (31%).

The survey allowed respondents to cite multiple reasons for that choice, and the most common reasons they cited for their caution were personal preference (52%) or having other priorities (37%). But one in three LGBTQIA+ employees (33%) said they were "concerned about negative reactions from coworkers," nearly one in four (33%) said they were "concerned it could damage my career" and one in six (16%) said, "my company doesn't provide a safe environment" for coming out.

More than eight in 10 (81%) agree with the statement "My company is moving in the right direction when it comes to LGBTQIA+ inclusion," and seven in 10 (71%) say, "I believe that my place of employment would hold people accountable for anti-LGBTQIA+ behavior (or I have already seen it do so in the past)."

The survey also assessed what LGBTQIA+ people believe makes a workplace supportive and safe. Safeguards addressing discrimination and harassment were more valued than any other policy, benefit, or resource, respondents said, with the top two answers being "safe reporting channels for incidents of LGBTQIA+ discrimination and harassment" (89%) and "written disciplinary protocol address incidents of LGBTQIA+ discrimination and harassment" (86%).

Having those policies in place matters, respondents indicated. Nearly four in 10 (38%) of LGBTQIA+ employees have reported harassment or discrimination related to their identity, but their employer failed to act. Nearly half (46%) have experienced harassment or discrimination but chose not to report it because it felt either unsafe or unproductive to do so.

The survey indicates that creating an inclusive, safe, and supportive environment where LGBTQIA+ employees can come out appears to have benefits for those employees and, by extension, their employers.

"Out LGBTQIA+ employees report a more positive and thriving employee experience," the report said, pointing to significant differences between employees who were out at work and those who have not described their feelings about the workplace. For example:

  • 69% of "out" workers reported feeling "confident" compared to 53% of those not out.
  • 64% of "out" workers said they felt "connected to coworkers" compared to 43% of those not out.
  • 65% of "out" workers said they felt "purposeful" compared to 54% of those not out.
  • 61% of "out" workers said they felt "invested in company success" compared to 47% of those not out.

A common theme across almost all questions was that transgender people experience more workplace difficulties than other people in the LGBTQIA+ community.

A greater percentage of transgender people said they had reported harassment or discrimination with no action from their employer (57%) and that they chose not to report it because it might be unsafe or unproductive to do so (65%).

In addition, more than six in 10 (62%) transgender respondents have had a negative experience coming out at work (such as coworkers treating them negatively, feeling emotional trauma, or experiencing negative professional consequences, etc.). Nearly half (47%) of all LGBTQIA+ employees, 52% who identify as lesbian and 50% who are gay, reported sharing the same sentiment.

People who describe themselves as being LGBTQIA+ and of traditional racial or ethnic minority groups also reported more frequent negative workplace experiences.

Finally, as Pride Month continues, the survey indicates that organizations should think hard about how they celebrate it.

"Queer employees seek genuine, whole-hearted Pride Month efforts from their employers," the report said, noting that while 57% of LGBTQIA+ employees report their company recognizes Pride Month in some way, 62% "think it's worse to make a halfhearted Pride Month effort than do nothing at all."

What does a good Pride Month effort look like? Survey respondents said companies should put their money and public efforts where their words are: The most common recognition is a company-wide email, but what respondents said would be best is donations to LGBTQIA+ causes, with organizing volunteer activities and physical displays of banners and flags as close seconds.

"Inclusive Insights: LGBTQIA+ and Work," from The Harris Poll Thought Leadership and Futures Practice, is based on a survey that was conducted online within the United States by The Harris Poll between May 26 and June 1, 2023, among 1,110 LGBTQIA+ adults aged 18 and over. The body of research includes 309 respondents who identify as lesbian, 346 who identify as gay, 380 as bisexual, 94 as transgender, as well 79 who identify as non-binary. Moreover, this survey includes 382 who identify both as LGBTQIA+ and as BIPOC. The report is based on a sample of 696 respondents who are currently employed.

Trinity Church Wall Street Awards More Than $22 Million in Grants to Non-Profit Organizations, Addressing Housing Insecurity and Mental Health Needs in NYC and Beyond

Trinity Church Wall Street Awards More Than Million in Grants to Non-Profit Organizations, Addressing Housing Insecurity and Mental Health Needs in NYC and Beyond

Trinity Church Wall Street has announced its latest grant awards, including more than $22 million to 111 nonprofit organizations in NYC, the U.S., and abroad. Most of the grants are aimed at addressing the urgent issues — the concurrent crises of housing affordability, mental health, community safety, and asylum seekers — in line with Trinity's strategic mission areas that work for justice rooted in essential human dignity.

"This is a time of great and increasing need in our neighborhood, and across the world," said the Rev. Phillip Jackson, Rector of Trinity Church Wall Street. "Our faith calls on us to use our gifts to help all people, advancing equity and justice in the here and now — and hopefully for generations to come. We are grateful to be able to make these strategic investments in the work of our remarkable grantee partners, and in work that will have a direct impact on people's lives."

Thirty-two grants, totaling more than $8 million, are going to organizations focused on addressing the needs of those affected by the affordable housing crisis and homelessness in NYC. The grants will support a range of initiatives, including the development of affordable housing, the provision of emergency shelter and supportive services for those experiencing homelessness, and research and advocacy efforts aimed at addressing the root causes of the housing crisis.

"Our commitment to our neighbors in NYC and the faith community runs deep," said Beatriz de la Torre, Trinity's Chief Philanthropy Officer. "We are dedicated to working alongside community-based organizations, faith leaders, and cross-sector partners to ensure that everyone has access to safe and affordable housing, mental health resources, and the support they need to thrive."

Trinity understands that breaking the cycle of homelessness requires helping families secure and maintain permanent housing. To support this goal, Trinity made a series of grants to increase the capacity of organizations providing legal services to low-income households. For example, Brooklyn Legal Services Corporation received $200,000 to provide legal services that help tenants remain in their homes and help homeowners avoid foreclosure.

"The pandemic and its aftermath have laid bare the precariousness of stable housing for many low-income New Yorkers," said Jessica Rose, Executive Director, Brooklyn Legal Services Corp. "Support from Trinity will enable Brooklyn Legal Services to broaden and deepen our legal services to assist marginalized and low-income tenants and homeowners seek justice and to maintain housing stability for themselves and their families."

Trinity is also continuing its commitment to supporting the more than 76,000 asylum seekers that have arrived in NYC since last spring. A new $300,000 grant to the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City, working with New York Disaster Interfaith Services, will help 50 houses of worship across the city provide temporary shelter for 950 asylum seekers. Trinity's grant will specifically enable the construction of showers at the faith-based facilities participating in the Faith Beds program.

"NYC's faith-based community has been on the forefront of helping our newest New Yorkers feel welcomed, experience connection and access the resources needed to navigate life in a new place," said Marcella Tillett, Executive Director, Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City. "We are thankful to Trinity for their generosity and steadfast partnership on our Asylum Seeker Relief Fund, supporting this innovative, infrastructure-building program that enables houses of worship to respond to the current humanitarian need and provides permanent capacity to do so in the future."

As Trinity continues to work toward mitigating mental health issues exacerbated by the pandemic, more than a million dollars in this grants cycle will go to organizations prioritizing mental health and youth in their work. Children's Rights received $200,000 and will use the money to improve access to critical mental and behavioral health services for NYC children. A $600,000 multi-year grant to The Brotherhood Sister Sol (BroSis) will support the organization's mission to provide comprehensive support services including long-term mental health services to youth, ages 8-22.

"BroSis is deeply appreciative of the partnership with and support of Trinity Church," said Khary Lazarre-White, Executive Director and co-founder, The Brotherhood Sister Sol. "BroSis is a social justice youth development organization that works in the interconnected areas of educating, organizing for equity, and training to advance justice. These funds will allow us to continue to grow our programs and services while helping young people find and hone their voices as they become changemakers and organizers."

Trinity's national and global reach remains an important part of its mission, with more than $6 million going to faith-based organizations in the U.S. and Anglican partners internationally in support of mission real estate development and leadership development. These grants will ensure the continuing education of faith leaders and build financial capacity for Anglican dioceses in sub-Saharan Africa to advance their ministry, with a focus on rapidly growing regions and investments that support economic mobility for women and children.

Awards include a $750,000 grant to the Anglican Alliance to develop Anglican leaders' ability to support asset-based community development; a $600,000 grant to the Pastoral Leadership Institute at Christ Church Cranbrook; a $150,000 grant to expand the medical facility operated by The Anglican Diocese of Makamba with pediatric and maternal care; and a $100,000 grant to help The Anglican Diocese of Central Zimbabwe build a solar power plant

Once complete, these projects will have a direct social impact: creating new affordable housing, providing microcredit and medical services for women, supporting agriculture and tourism, expanding clean energy infrastructure, and developing faith leaders who are significant supporters of their community members' well-being.

This week, Trinity also announced its first Neighborhood Support grant application period, open from June 12 to July 12, to support wraparound services, newly arrived asylum seekers, youth, mental health and emotional well-being, and the arts in Lower Manhattan.

"Trinity recognizes that addressing these issues requires a collaborative effort, and we're committed to working alongside government agencies, community organizations, faith leaders, and other stakeholders to find lasting solutions to these challenges," added de la Torre. "The grants announced today are just one part of Trinity's ongoing commitment to supporting the communities it serves and making a positive impact in the world."

Inspire Dental Wellness Highlights TMJ Therapy, the Minimally Invasive Solution to Craniofacial Pain

Inspire Dental Wellness Highlights TMJ Therapy, the Minimally Invasive Solution to Craniofacial Pain
Inspire Dental Wellness specializes in the non-surgical treatment of craniofacial pain to help patients improve their quality of life.

For patients in the Orland Park area suffering from symptoms such as recurrent headaches, facial pain, jaw clicking, or neck stiffness, Inspire Dental Wellness is helping identify the underlying source of these craniofacial issues and treating them through non-surgical TMJ Therapy.

The temporomandibular joint (TMJ) connects the jawbone to the skull's temporal bone, located in front of the ear on each side of the head. The joints control the movement of the jaw and essential actions such as speaking and chewing. When a TMJ joint becomes damaged or dysfunctional, it can lead to a disorder referred to as TMD, which can cause various symptoms, including jaw pain, clicking or popping sounds, difficulty opening or closing the mouth, earaches, headaches, migraines, and facial pain.

The exact cause of TMD, when not related to a traumatic injury such as a blow to the face or car accident, can often be hard to pinpoint. Misalignment of the bite, teeth grinding or clenching, arthritis, poor posture, stress, anxiety, or a combination of all of the above may contribute to the suboptimal functioning of the TMJ. Over time, the cumulative effects of the underlying issue can alter the delicate balance in the craniofacial area, leading to problematic conditions such as tinnitus and dizziness, in addition to head, neck, and ear pain.

Inspire Dental Wellness specializes in identifying the root causes of TMD and implementing reversible and non-invasive TMJ Therapy as the first line of treatment. Typically, this involves a clear, subtle corrective orthotic that is worn during the day for a duration of 3-4 months. Once this period passes, the patient is weaned off the dental appliance. If initial treatment is unsuccessful, Dr. Erica and her team will explore non-reversible Phase II therapy options to improve and stabilize the condition.

About Inspire Dental Wellness

Under the experienced guidance of Dr. Erica Zolnierczyk and Dr. Badia Zahdan, the team at Inspire Dental Wellness-one of the leading dental clinics in Orland Park-provides expert care in the areas of family and general dentistry, cosmetic treatments, and airway and facial development.

Shaka Guide Launches New Yellowstone National Park Tour
A New Way to Explore America's Oldest National Park

Shaka Guide, the maker of Hawaii's highest-rated travel apps, has launched a new, self-guided audio-driving tour of America's first national park: Yellowstone. This is the company's largest tour, with a total of 110 stops and more than 400 audio points.

"This Yellowstone National Park Tour has been a year in the making," says Andrew Fowers, Shaka Guide's CEO and co-founder. "It has gone through hundreds of hours of research, edits, and production and we can't wait for travelers to discover the stories and sites of Yellowstone with Shaka Guide by their side."

With its unique blend of storytelling and GPS navigation, Shaka Guide offers an affordable and immersive travel experience that unlocks the natural beauty and rich history of Yellowstone. The tour retails for $11.99 and features hours of narration. The app uses GPS audio points to trigger narration automatically while driving or walking, turning a smartphone into your personal tour guide.

The Yellowstone National Park Tour features four starting points including the park's East, West, South, and Northeast entrances. Whether spending one hour, one day or one week in Yellowstone, the tour is completely customizable. It can be done in any direction from any starting point to experience a holistic guided tour of the park.

Shaka Guide's Yellowstone National Park tour is designed to enhance the visitor's experience by providing valuable information on key points of interest, suggested hikes, responsible travel, and lesser-known areas within the park.

Tour highlights include:

  • Mammoth Hot Springs and its nearby attractions
  • The Grand Canyon of Yellowstone
  • Lamar Valley and Hayden Valleys — two prime wildlife viewing sites
  • Upper Geyser Basin including the famed Old Faithful
  • Unique attractions like the Roaring Mountain, Maiden's Grave, and the Firehole River
  • Road-less-traveled sites like Lake Butte Overlook and Fishing Bridge

With Shaka Guide, you don't just visit these spots, you get hand-crafted stories about the locations you're visiting. The company was founded with the mission to connect people with places through stories.

The app works completely offline — meaning that even with spotty service in the park, travelers have access to the offline map, directions, stories, and travel tips to help visitors enjoy the park regardless of connectivity.

For those visiting both Yellowstone and nearby Grand Teton, Shaka Guide has also launched a new Grand Teton National Park Tour. Both tours come in a bundle for $14.99.

"When you think of Shaka Guide, imagine we're your local friend showing you around the park," says Fowers. "We want to be your go-to Yellowstone travel companion app to help you make the most of your adventure."

Credello: Are Credit Scores Becoming More Consumer Friendly?

Credello: Are Credit Scores Becoming More Consumer Friendly?

Credello: Your credit score can have a huge impact on your life, from being able to rent an apartment to passing an employer background check. A package of bills to address credit rating regulations in New York is aiming to change that. Lawmakers want to prevent employers from using a credit report to make hiring decisions. They also want to protect domestic violence survivors who have gone through financial abuse.

The measures would also require consumer reporting agencies to contact you if an inquiry is made into your report, as this can affect your credit score, as well as provide improved awareness around understanding your credit report. It's too early to tell whether this regulation will become a reality, but, as a consumer, you can get your free credit report from each one of the credit bureaus and use it as a tool to protect your credit health.

"The credit score system has a long way to go before it works for consumers rather than against them," said Assemblywoman Nily Rozic, the chair of the Assembly Consumer Affairs and Protection Committee, in a Spectrum News article. "This legislative package is a step toward ensuring New Yorkers are equipped with the information and protections necessary. In New York we know that  poor credit reflects a broken financial system, not a judgment on the consumer."

How does a credit report work?

A credit report is a detailed summary of an individual's credit history and financial behavior. It is compiled by credit bureaus based on information provided by lenders, creditors, and public records. The report includes various elements such as personal identification details, credit accounts, payment history, outstanding debts, and public records like bankruptcies or tax liens.

Credit reports play a crucial role in assessing an individual's creditworthiness and financial reliability. Lenders and creditors refer to these reports when making decisions about granting loans, credit cards, or other forms of credit. They use the information to evaluate the individual's ability to repay debts and manage credit responsibly.

A credit report provides insights into an individual's financial habits, including their payment patterns, debt levels, and overall credit management. It influences a person's credit score, a numerical representation of their creditworthiness. A good credit report with positive payment history and low outstanding debt typically results in a higher credit score, while negative information or late payments can lower it.

Accessing and reading your credit report

Monitoring your credit report regularly is important to ensure accuracy and identify any errors or fraudulent activity. To access your credit report in the U.S., you can visit AnnualCreditReport.com, the official website authorized by the Federal Trade Commission. There, you can request a free credit report from each of the three major credit bureaus—Equifax, Experian, and TransUnion—once every 12 months. Simply provide your personal information, choose the credit bureaus you want reports from, verify your identity, and you'll be able to view and download your credit reports instantly.

If you're wondering how to read a credit report, the first step is understanding the information presented. Here's a simplified guide:

  1. Personal Information: Verify your name, address, and social security number for accuracy.
  2. Accounts: Review each account entry, noting the creditor, account type, and status (open, closed, etc.).
  3. Payment History: Check if payments were made on time and identify any missed or late payments.
  4. Balances and Credit Utilization: Assess the outstanding balances on your accounts and calculate the percentage of credit used.
  5. Public Records: Look for any bankruptcies, liens, or judgments against you.
  6. Inquiries: Note any recent inquiries made by lenders or creditors.
  7. Dispute Errors: If you find any inaccuracies, follow the credit bureau's instructions to dispute them and ensure a correct credit report.

Understanding your credit report helps you evaluate your creditworthiness, detect errors, and take appropriate steps to maintain or improve your credit health.

DEXIS IOS Solutions Expands Its Portfolio and Ecosystem, Bringing New End-to-End Digital Workflows to Dental Practitioners
DEXIS IOS Solutions is pleased to announce the expansion of its portfolio and ecosystem through new digital end-to-end workflows. Dental Practitioners can now easily expand their range of services through aligner and denture treatments as well as in-house printing, offering their patients personalized and innovative care.

DEXIS IS 3800 Wired Intraoral Scanner

DEXIS IOS Solutions is pleased to announce the expansion of its portfolio and ecosystem through new digital end-to-end workflows. The new and enhanced workflows are designed to align with the objective of DEXIS IOS Solutions to support dental practitioners in accelerating their workflow, resulting in increased productivity and improved patient experience. To reinforce this objective, DEXIS IOS Solutions is focused on three crucial principles: ease of use, productivity and practice expansion. Practitioners can now easily expand their range of services through aligner and denture treatments as well as in-house printing, offering their patients personalized and innovative care.

The new prescriptive workflows are being developed concurrently with ongoing innovations in the broader Envista™ portfolio, beginning with a new orthodontic workflow in combination with Ormco Spark™ that enables practices to easily add aligner therapy to their treatment options. A new Patient Engagement application within IS ScanFlow enables practitioners to show patients a simulated outcome of their orthodontic treatment, enabling them to visualize the treatment outcome chairside. Integrated digital transfer of the datasets to Ormco Spark streamlines the process, enabling patients to promptly initiate treatment.

"By further integrating DEXIS IOS Solutions into the broader Envista offerings, we are providing dentists with the solutions they need to provide exceptional and personalized care for their patients. We are committed to helping dental practioners improve patient outcomes and grow their practice through digital innovation," said Amir Aghdaei President and CEO at Envista Holdings Corporation.

DEXIS IOS Solutions has also collaborated with SprintRay™ 3D printing ecosystem for definitive ceramic crowns, to simplify in-office printing and make same-day restorations a reality. SprintRay Cloud Design leverages artificial intelligence (AI) to streamline the design of crowns, appliances, and surgical guides within minutes. Practitioners can scan the patient with any DEXIS intraoral scanner and upload the dataset directly from either DTX Studio™ Clinic or IS ScanFlow to the SprintRay portal, eliminating the need to manually select files, enter redundant patient information and design the restoration or appliance.

"By combining DEXIS intraoral scanners with SprintRay's ecosystem, dental practitioners can offer same-day delivery of crowns and appliances, increasing their productivity by completing more procedures in a shorter amount of time," said Amir Aghdaei. "Offering same-day restorations can give practitioners a distinct competitive advantage, as patients often prefer the convenience of single visit appointments, enabling dental practitioners to expand their services and attract patients seeking fast and convenient dental treatment."

To further enhance the capabilities of the DEXIS IOS Solutions porfolio, IS ScanFlow v1.0.9 now includes a denture scanning workflow that streamlines the treatment planning process by combining the capture of the bite registration and prosthetic along with the edentulous and denture scans, eliminating the manual process of matching and aligning data sets by the lab. The software also provides embedded scan tips to optimize and simplify the edentulous data acquisition.

In addition, DEXIS IOS Solutions is introducing the IS 3800 wired scanner, which offers the same high-speed performance as the award-winning IS 3800W. The IS 3800 wired scanner is highly ergonomic and weighs just 190g without the cable, making it one of the lightest intraoral scanners available. It complements the IS 3800W wireless scanner, which weighs only 240g and is considered the lightest wireless intraoral scanner in the industry.

Joker 2: Zazie Beetz thinks sequel won’t be what fans are expecting

Joker 2: Zazie Beetz thinks sequel won’t be what fans are expecting

Zazie Beetz says that Joker: Folie à Deux won’t be the sequel that fans are expecting and praises Lady Gaga.

I doubt many were suspecting that Joker would become a billion-dollar box-office smash, and it sounds like the upcoming sequel will be just as surprising, just for a different reason. While speaking with Variety at the Tribeca Film Festival, Zazie Beetz teased that the Joker sequel won’t be what fans are expecting.

I think people will be surprised. I don’t think it’s going to be what they expect, around it being musical,” Zazie Beetz said. “We all sort of express musically and dancing in our lives day-to-day. I think it’s going to work really well.” Beetz played Sophie Dumond in the first Joker movie, a love interest for Arthur Fleck (Joaquin Phoenix), and has reprised the role for Joker: Folie à Deux. Plot details for the Joker sequel are being kept under wraps, but it’s been said that much of it will take place within Arkham Asylum, which is where we left Arthur in the last film.

Lady Gaga is also starring in Joker: Folie à Deux and Zazie Beetz was full of praise for her new co-star. “She’s super warm and kind,” Beetz said. “I felt very welcome with her on set. She was doing her own character work and stuff, but she’s a very grounded person. She’s just Stefani.” The rest of the cast of the Joker sequel includes Brendan Gleeson, Catherine Keener, Jacob Lofland, and Harry Lawtey.

While Zazie Beetz did return for more Joker, she won’t be back for Deadpool 3. The actress played Domino in Deadpool 2, a mutant mercenary with the ability to manipulate luck. As much of the previous cast returned for the Deadpool sequel, it was believed that Beetz would as well. But when asked if the ongoing WGA strike was affecting Ryan Reynolds’ ability to improvise on the Deadpool 3 set, Beetz said, “Well I’m actually not in Deadpool 3, so I don’t know what they’re doing [about improvisation]. I’m assuming they’re probably taking a pause. […] I’m excited to watch it.

Joker: Folie à Deux will hit theaters on October 4, 2024.
