3. Purchasing Early = More Money

The Assistance Fund, an independent charitable patient assistance organization that helps patients and families facing high medical out-of-pocket costs, today announced the launch of a new copay assistance program for people living with hepatocellular carcinoma. The program is designed to help eligible individuals pay for their out-of-pocket medical expenses related to hepatocellular carcinoma, such as copays, deductibles, and coinsurance.

People diagnosed with hepatocellular carcinoma, the most common form of liver cancer, often experience abdominal discomfort, weight and appetite loss, and jaundice. Depending on the situation, some patients require chemotherapy, radiation, or targeted therapies.[1] Nearly 35,000 Americans are diagnosed with liver cancer every year.[2]
