iQuanti: When you need access to money quickly, an installment loan might be your ideal option.
Here is what you need to know about installment loans in Canada, as well as their benefits.
What are installment loans?
An installment loan is a closed-end loan that is paid back over a set timeframe. You receive the entire sum immediately and then pay it back in regularly scheduled payments, also known as installment payments. Every payment is for the same amount over a set amount of time, which could be weeks, months, or even years.
Once you've paid back the full amount, including any interest owed, the account is closed.
This is different from revolving credit, where the account is open-ended. This means you can borrow against it and pay it down repeatedly for as long as the account is in good standing.
Among the benefits of installment loans:
Fast access to cash
Installment loans are great if you need fast access to a large amount of money. An installment loan can help you with sudden expenses such as a car or home repair, or it can be used to consolidate your debt, which can help you with your finances.
Financial clarity
Because you pay the same amount each month, you'll be better able to budget for your loan payment. It won't increase over time, making it easier for you to manage your finances.
Smaller payments
With an online installment loan, you can choose flexible repayment options. If you have more money accessible to you, you can opt for a shorter repayment term. If your finances are already stretched, you can choose a longer payment term with lower monthly payments.
Save on interest fees
Depending on the lender, you may even be able to choose a more extended payment schedule but pay it off more quickly if you have extra money, which means you'll be paying less interest.
Some lenders charge you fees for paying your installment loan early, so ensure you're aware of any early repayment fees or charges associated with your account.
Peace of mind
If you're struggling financially, you may not be able to pay the upfront costs for an expensive repair. But when your furnace dies or your pipes leak, it could be urgent that you get the repair done as quickly as possible. An installment loan can ensure you get the necessary repairs without draining you financially.
Rather than paying $10,000 in one go, you can pay a few hundred dollars a month.
Access to credit
You can apply for an online installment loan in Canada provided you are 19 years or older, have a valid chequing account, and can prove you have a steady source of income. You don't necessarily need the best credit to be eligible, so even people with lower credit scores can apply.
If you have poor credit, an installment loan can help you build your credit score, so long as you make your full payments on time.
An additional benefit of online installment loans is that you can be approved quickly and easily, so you aren't left waiting or worrying. The application process is simple and usually takes a few minutes to complete. Once approved, your funds will be released to you in one to two business days.
If you need fast access to money, it's worth considering whether an installment loan is right for you.

AUSTIN, Texas - December 15, 2022 - (Newswire.com)
iQuanti: Finding the right mental health professional can be a big decision, and there's more than one way to receive support. For example, do you want a therapist in Austin who offers in-person therapy, telehealth, or a mixture of both? Let's break down the pros and cons of each option.
What is in-person therapy?
In-person therapy is when a licensed therapist meets with you face-to-face. Sessions are held at the same place every time, usually in the therapist's office.
Pros of in-person therapy:
Meeting in a quiet, neutral office might offer fewer distractions, allowing you to focus on mental health goals.
Establishing a connection and trust with your therapist may be faster or easier in person.
Your therapist may be more likely to spot nonverbal cues, which could help them understand your needs.
Severe mental health disorders that require more urgent care can be more responsive to in-person therapy.
Certain types of therapy, such as art or play therapy, can be easier to conduct in person.
Cons of in-person therapy:
The number of mental health professionals in your area might be limited. This could make it hard to find a therapist or schedule an appointment.
Traveling to your therapist's office might be inconvenient or take a long time.
In-person therapy can sometimes be more expensive than telehealth.
What is telehealth therapy?
Therapists who offer telehealth provide support to their patients either over the phone or through virtual video sessions. Instead of meeting in a therapist's office, you might have a video conference from your living room, or anywhere else you have an internet or phone connection.
Pros of telehealth:
Since location is less important, you may find a larger pool of therapists available to you by telehealth than in person.
You can have a therapy session from anywhere there's phone or internet service. This could be a big plus if you have social anxiety, physical limitations, or live in an area with unreliable transportation.
You might feel more at ease talking to a therapist from a quiet space of your choosing rather than in an office.
If privacy is a concern, there's no risk of anyone seeing you going into a therapist's office.
Cons of telehealth:
Telehealth won't work if you don't have access to a computer or phone, or if you're in an area with poor internet service.
It may be harder for therapists to pick up on body language or other nonverbal cues, which might limit communication.
You may feel self-conscious if you don't have access to a private space where you won't be distracted or overheard.
If you have a severe mental illness or are in a crisis where your safety is at risk, telehealth might not be the best option.
Making the right choice for you
So, which is better? Teletherapy and in-person therapy both provide regular sessions with a licensed therapist and can provide effective treatment. However, when it comes to therapy, personal needs and circumstances are important factors to consider when deciding.
Note that some therapists offer a hybrid approach—they have an office location with the option for telehealth if needed. In the end, one of the best ways you can figure out if in-person or telehealth therapy is right for you is to reach out to a local therapist. They can help you decide which type of therapy best suits your needs.
CHARLOTTE, N.C. - December 15, 2022 - (Newswire.com)
iQuanti: You don't need a big reason to seek help from a mental health professional. In fact, most people could probably benefit from speaking to a therapist. But how do you go about finding a therapist? The options can be overwhelming—for example, if you live in a major city, there are likely thousands of licensed therapists to choose from. How do you find the right one to help you with your mental health concerns? Here are five steps to get you started:
Get a recommendation
Close friends and family members can be great resources for referrals. If someone you trust is seeing a therapist or has seen a therapist in the past, ask that person if they can give you a recommendation. If they don't feel comfortable referring you to their own therapist, perhaps they could ask their therapist to refer you to someone else.
Another option is to talk to your primary care physician. Medical professionals often have a network of trusted specialists that they can reach out to, including therapists. Ask your doctor if they've referred patients to therapists in the past and if they could do the same for you.
Search the internet
The internet is your best friend for gathering information. For example, simply typing "therapy in Charlotte" into a general search engine will start you on your journey. To narrow your search further, you might look at mental health association websites and directories, which offer information on mental health disorders as well as licensed therapists. These sites allow you to filter for location, specialty, insurance, fees, and other things. Often therapists will include a picture of themselves on these sites, along with a description of their credentials and services, as well as how to contact them.
Go through your insurance
You might be able to find in-network therapists through your insurance company's provider directory. Many directories allow you to narrow down by zip code and specialties. Choose a few therapists who are in your area, and then look at their websites or profiles. Cross-check their qualifications and read reviews to get a sense if they are the kind of therapists you're looking for.
Check with your employee assistance program
Does your employer have an employee assistance program? EAPs offer resources to help employees get through personal challenges so that they can remain productive at their jobs. This system would likely include mental health services such as assessments, short-term counseling, and therapist referrals-all of which would be confidential and at no cost.
Questions to ask once you've found a therapist
Once you've landed on a few options, it's time to figure out which therapist is best for your needs. Therapists often offer a short, free consultation for this purpose. Here are some questions you might want to ask before committing to an appointment:
Questions about the basics
How long have you been a licensed therapist?
Where did you go to school?
What certifications do you have?
How many clients do you have?
How much do you charge? Do you accept my health insurance?
What does your availability look like?
What is your cancellation policy?
Questions about the fit
What is your practice's philosophy? Introspective or action-oriented? Are you directive or does your client lead the sessions?
Do you specialize in specific issues?
What motivated you to become a therapist?
When was the last time you worked with someone with a problem like mine?
How would we meet—in person, by phone, online, or a mixture of all?
How often will I meet with you? Are you available in between sessions?

According to leading interior design company FURNISHD., rather than trying to appeal to a broad market when decorating a home, it's important to choose styles that appeal to one's own passions and interests. Interior design trends come and go, so instead of buying into new fads, incorporating colours, textures and forms that spark joy and speak to the homeowner's personality will ensure the space reaches its full design potential.
The expert interior designers say while there are no rules for selecting the right colour for a home, warm and vibrant colours are making a comeback after taking a back seat to the cool greys, whites and neutrals that have dominated for a long time now.
An easy way to update a neutral home is by adding plenty of textures, explains FURNISHD. Wallpaper and textural paint finishes can be a low-cost yet effective way to add visual interest to a room.
Pattern on pattern and clashing colours are also having a moment, says FURNISHD. Think statement wallpaper and printed fabrics as well as retro textiles such as taffeta, which is becoming a popular choice for curtains.
Geometric patterns are also very on-trend but, as FURNISHD. highlights, this is a trend that won't be going anywhere anytime soon. Small-scale ways to embrace the trend include checked throw cushions, decorative bowls and rugs.
The interior design consultant says rather than choosing mass-produced objects and furniture, opting for unique and beautifully designed pieces will help to make the home feel personalised. As people move past wanting their home to look like a magazine liftout, special objects that evoke memories will create a more meaningful space. FURNISHD. suggests investing in pieces made by local artists and looking to collabs between boutique designers and big brand names, as well as checking out op shops to find hidden gems that won't break the bank.

The American Institute for Dental Public Health (AIDPH) has released its 2022 Impact Report highlighting achievements in oral health equity, affirming strategic priorities, and introducing a roadmap for the upcoming year.
"When I reflect on what we've accomplished in 2022, one word resonates above all: gratitude," said Executive Director Dr. Annaliese Cothron. "Gratitude to our leadership, funders, collaborators, and team. We've experienced the biggest growth we've ever had this past year, extending our impact beyond what we thought possible."
In 2022, AIDPH elevated oral health equity in three areas of focus: LGBTQIA+ people, rural health, and veterans. The organization announced a planned focus expansion for people with disabilities.
During 2022 advocacy efforts, Dr. Cothron joined policy experts and over 200 participants during the Oral Health Progress and Equity Network (OPEN) mid-year meeting to discuss critical issues facing dental public health, including Medicare and oral health access for priority populations. Dr. Cothron was also invited to a private roundtable conversation with members of congress to share AIDPH's research detailing oral health disparities impacting America's veterans.
Furthering a commitment to prepare future oral health leaders to support the needs of underserved communities, AIDPH began 2022 by hosting its annual conference, "Transforming Veteran Oral Health," followed by the initiation of its rural oral health certificate program. AIDPH ended the year by launching its inaugural Dental Public Health Leadership Academy, a program aimed at capacity-building of future oral health leaders. AIDPH awarded 350 continuing education units (CEUs), provided more than 400 hours of education to oral health professionals, and drew more than 1,000 attendees to its workshops, webinars and virtual events.
AIDPH advanced innovation through published research with strategic recommendations on veteran oral health, COVID-19's impact on the dental public health workforce, and improving the oral health of rural veterans. By pairing research with compelling data visualization, AIDPH directly influenced policy and shaped national oral health discourse for veterans, LGBTQIA+ people, and rural communities.
AIDPH achieved success this year through funding from CareQuest Institute for Oral Health, the Barstool Difference, Delta Dental Foundation of Iowa, and the National Network for Oral Health Access (NNOHA).

From the boxing ring to the outer reaches of the cosmos, Chino Valley Ranchers (CVR) has taken its eggs and its customers on a wild ride over the past year, going viral in a series of wildly successfully digital ads that have captured the attention of millions.
CEO Chris Nichols explains why the company is prioritizing entertaining content. "I believe all people have a desire to be creative in one form or another. For me, taking a break from the normal duties of running the farm in order to think outside the box and express some creativity is essential. With so many new platforms to display content, the possibilities are endless. This opportunity gets me excited as we continue to push the barriers of what people expect from an egg brand."
The ad "Special Delivery" took highest honors during the 2022 MUSE Creative Awards. Inspired by the recent gender-reveal party craze, it is a comedic portrayal of a delivery driver lured by a "Come on in!" sign and a table full of delicious treats. He enters just as the party reaches its climax and has a comical "wanna get away" moment. (Link)
Country star Nate Kenyon takes center stage in "Chicken Scratch." In this music video-format ad, he portrays a lovelorn rancher jilted by his favorite chicken, who has flown the coop for Chino Valley. A string of puns delivered in convincing country heartbreak style culminate in the tagline, "The Grass Is Greener at Chino Valley." (Link)
CVR also released a unique and widely viewed animation for Comet Eggs, whose "intergalactic orange yolks" are explained with an amusing backstory about Cold War-era chickens in space. (Link)
"We love what we do here at Chino and can't wait to share that message with our customers," Nichols says. "This past year, we took a different approach to advertising in order to bring our audience something new. Eggs are a food that is so versatile and fun to cook with, we wanted to bring out some of that humor and celebrate a new way to look at eggs. We see our content as leading the industry forward and can't wait to see what we do in 2023."

Gemini Motor Company, Chart Industries, and Ballard Power Systems entered into an agreement to collaborate on the development of a zero-emission fuel-cell Class 8 autonomous vehicle that will be able to cover 1,000 miles in one fueling, dramatically reducing operating costs for the clean, long-haul transportation industry.
According to Alex Rafiee, Gemini's CEO, "Both Ballard and Chart are the industry leaders in their sectors, and we are confident our integrated solution will be a significant step forward for the industry."
This range breakthrough is possible due to the high energy density of liquified hydrogen and the ability to store it on-board Gemini's specially designed trucks. Liquid hydrogen has higher energy density than its gaseous form typically compressed at 350 and 700. Cryogenic tanks that store liquid hydrogen can operate at atmospheric pressure, which makes them inherently safer for transport and more efficient in achieving longer driving ranges while maintaining an optimal gross vehicle weight.
The benefits of fueling liquid hydrogen from a refueling station to a liquid hydrogen on-board tank include removing prohibitive cost burdens and allowing ultra-fast refueling times on parity with diesel. On-board storage tanks streamline the dispensing process by eliminating the need for compression and, as a result, remove prohibitive capital and operational costs associated with compressors.
In addition to the significant reduction in carbon emissions from the use of liquid hydrogen and the unique design, Gemini plans to, over time, introduce an autonomous model of the same vehicle with increased space for additional fuel and additional efficiency from AI-directed operations that will extend the range up to 1,400 miles.
Along with Gemini Motor's recent agreement with a green hydrogen provider for low-cost liquid hydrogen, the development of this platform is poised to move deliberately toward a low-cost, efficient goods-movement future. Gemini will provide customers with a "Transportation-as-a-Service" model, including a plan for first rollout of test vehicles and demonstration fleets in 2023. After successful trials, the company intends to work on the launch of Gemini Motor's commercial service with hundreds of vehicles by 2025.
Chart Industries, Inc. is a leading independent global manufacturer of highly engineered equipment servicing multiple applications in the Energy and Industrial Gas markets. Ballard Power Systems delivers fuel cell power for a sustainable future of the planet. Ballard zero-emission PEM fuel cells are enabling electrification of mobility, including buses, commercial trucks, trains, marine vessels, and stationary power generation.
In the first phase of the collaboration, Gemini will integrate Chart's liquid fuel on-board storage systems and Ballard's advanced FCmoveTM fuel cell in a class 8 vehicle to validate a multi-component integration system. Gemini intends to demonstrate a vehicle with an unprecedented zero-emission range suited for long-haul logistics in countries such as the U.S., Canada, and Australia. At commercial scale, Gemini seeks to operate thousands of such vehicles in a hub-to-hub model across multiple cities and provide transportation-as-a-service business to shippers and carriers.
Ballard fuel cells currently power approximately 3,500 buses and trucks, providing zero-emission mobility solutions in nearly a dozen countries around the world with more than 100 million combined zero-emission kilometers driven. There is no other fuel-cell system provider with more heavy-duty on-the-road miles than Ballard, proving the extraordinary maturity and durability of their solution.
"We are excited about this agreement, as it represents extensive consideration and collaboration regarding partners. To accelerate decarbonization of the transportation sector, driving range is key. With longer ranges, the number of fuel stations needed drops exponentially while utilization of every unit rises, hence accelerating the adoption of zero emission transport. We achieve this long driving range with Ballard's powerful fuel cells combined with the unique liquid hydrogen tank storage from Chart," said Rafiee.
Ballard's mission is to deliver fuel-cell expertise toward valuable and innovative solutions globally. "We consider agreements like the one with Chart and Gemini critical to advancing clean and innovative transportation. Both Gemini and Chart align with Ballard's company values and have the right mix of talent, innovation, and know-how to make great strides in this space," stated Marc Niefer, General Manager, Business Unit Trucks and Vice President Customer Care of Ballard.
Chart Industries is a global leader in the design, engineering, and manufacturing of process technologies and equipment for the Nexus of Clean™ -- clean power, clean water, clean food, and clean industrials, regardless of the molecule. While Chart services a global, diverse set of end markets, their reputation for quality, excellence in ESG, and forming strategic partnerships is well-known. "At Chart, we're proud to be at the forefront of the clean energy transition, and we're excited to team up with two industry leaders, Ballard and Gemini, to accelerate decarbonization in the long-haul trucking space," said Jill Evanko, CEO of Chart Industries.
About Gemini Motor
Los Angeles, California-based Gemini Motor is a cleantech company building zero-emission semi-trucks powered by hydrogen fuel cells. Gemini will operate a fleet of autonomous and non-autonomous Class 8 trucks in a hub-to-hub model and provides transportation-as-a-service to its clients. Gemini RoboTruck will have a range of up to 1,400 miles and can be refueled in less than 20 minutes. For more information, visit www.geminimotor.com.
