Wild Roots is thrilled to announce the launch of Wild Roots Handcrafted Wines, a new lineup that includes Willamette Valley Rosé, Pinot Gris, Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, and Horse Heaven Hills Cabernet Sauvignon. This exciting expansion into winemaking has been spearheaded by the brand's new President, Ryan Harris, a wine industry veteran of more than 25 years.
The Wild Roots journey began in 2012 with a simple idea: capturing the true essence of the Pacific Northwest in every bottle. The founders knew there were few places in the world that produced fruit as flavorful and abundant as Oregon’s Willamette Valley. First inspired by local berries, Wild Roots Raspberry and Marionberry infused vodkas were launched, quickly becoming beloved Oregon favorites. The company has continued to expand over the past 10 years, innovating and adapting to the ever-changing alcohol industry.
Ryan Harris, President of Wild Roots, expressed his enthusiasm about joining the team and the new wine line, stating, "We are proud to expand Wild Roots' offerings to meet our consumers at any occasion while maintaining our true-to-the-fruit approach. It is a natural next step for such an innovative company.”
Wild Roots Handcrafted Wines will first be available exclusively through the Wild Roots x Wyld CBD Tasting Room & Bottle Shop in Washington Square Mall and Cascade Spirits Tasting Room in Sisters, Oregon, and special events, with plans for expanded distribution in the coming months. Wild Roots customers will also get to connect with the brand further by signing up for a wine club membership.

Protenus, provider of the leading healthcare compliance analytics platform, today announced a new grant of a U.S. Patent that supports its ongoing efforts to deliver drug diversion surveillance technology that enables hospitals and health systems to be more efficient and proactively eliminate risk to their organization and patients.
The new grant of U.S. Patent No. 12,033,736 is titled “Methods and Systems for Analyzing Accessing of Drug Dispensing Systems.” With this patent, Protenus now holds seven granted U.S. patents covering various techniques for detecting anomalous drug dispensing events. The newly granted patent covers the usage of rules or patterns for determining when a drug wasting event is a misappropriation event. The patent further describes modifying the rules or patterns for detecting possible subsequent misappropriation events.
“Policies and prevention tactics alone will not eliminate the diversion or misappropriation of controlled substance waste. Waste disposal should be audited, especially in high-use and complex care settings,” states Nick Culbertson, CEO and Co-Founder of Protenus. He continues, “Our award-winning drug diversion surveillance solution is designed to review drug handling patterns by monitoring 100% of medication handling transactions, bringing suspicious or likely events to the attention of the health system’s investigator for further review. This new patent reflects our continued commitment to supporting the complex intricacies of our customers’ diversion monitoring strategies.”
Protenus holds more than a dozen granted U.S. patents covering various key aspects of patient privacy monitoring and drug diversion surveillance technologies, along with several other pending U.S. and foreign patent applications.
Any licensing inquiries or other questions about the Protenus patent portfolio should be directed to Amy Much, Protenus's General Counsel, at [email protected].
Formulator Lindsey Duncan, CN, ND, says this is a revolutionary approach to staying hydrated, energized, and healthy.

All-In Nutritionals LLC, creators of highly effective and potent natural supplements, such as Ancient Energy, Bitter Apricot Kernels, EZ Plant Protein, and Magnesium Glycinate Plus, announced today the addition of another groundbreaking product. They have stepped into the Hydrogen Water arena and have launched their portable, rechargeable hydrogen water generator.
Hydrogen Water has become quite popular on social networks and in the media. It has also created a significant amount of chatter in the advanced circles of natural health enthusiasts. So much so that, earlier this year, PubMed published an article titled, “Hydrogen Water: Extra Healthy or a Hoax?” This article highlighted a systematic review that was conducted to determine if believed health benefits, such as its antioxidant properties, are valid. Although further research is needed, the findings of this review were very favorable.
Lindsey Duncan, CEO of All-In Nutritionals, agrees with the favorable findings. “Pure and/or alkaline water is great for you and has many benefits, but it’s still deficient in some very important areas. Hydrogen water is a revolutionary way to stay hydrated and feel great. I personally have been drinking hydrogen water for a couple of years now and am proud to say that All-In Nutritionals is current with the most recent natural wellness innovative science. Our new Hydro Bottle + is a perfect example of this.”
What exactly is Hydrogen Water? Simply put, hydrogen water is water that has been infused with molecular hydrogen. This is also known as H2 gas, which is completely natural. By adding hydrogen to water, it may help to increase the health benefits by its potential antioxidant properties, among other promising benefits. In addition, hydrogen molecules are extremely small, which makes them more easily absorbed into the body’s cells and tissues.
Duncan states that while the science of hydrogen water is progressive, the process is quite simple. “This is an electron process where the water is split into hydrogen and water gases. Hydrogen can potentially act as an antioxidant by neutralizing harmful free radicals in our bodies. Free radicals cause oxidative stress which is linked to premature aging and a whole host of health issues. Molecular hydrogen may potentially target the most harmful free radicals selectively and therefore reduce oxidative stress.”
Due to the increased popularity and awareness of hydrogen water, many options for obtaining this water are currently on the market, such as dissolvable hydrogen tablets, drops, and various hydrogen generators.
Duncan explained why All-In Nutritionals Hydro Bottle + is a standout product as it relates to competitors’ products.
“There are a lot of hydrogen water products on the market right now. Many of these are making all kinds of health claims and are extremely expensive. I’ve seen a single hydrogen generator for as much as $400. Several reports also suggest that some hydrogen generator brands may generate chlorine. We have worked hard for over a year to create a pure and clean hydrogen generator that is extremely effective, simple to use, portable, budget-friendly, and produces quality hydrogen water.”
Duncan went on to explain how the efficacy of the Hydro Bottle + can be assessed and guaranteed.
“Our hydrogen generator does not generate chlorine and every single bottle can be tested out with a basic ORP (Oxidation Reduction Potential) meter. If you do this simple test, which measures water’s oxidizing level, you will see amazing ORP levels, which demonstrates that our product contains exactly what we promise it does - high concentration levels of hydrogen.”
Duncan further stated, “We are proud to say that every person who has tried Hydro Bottle + has reported one or more positive changes and benefits. People are literally feeling their bodies become more hydrated.”
“Our goal with the Hydro Bottle was to make it affordable, easy to use, versatile and adaptable to any lifestyle, and extremely efficient and effective. I am confident in saying we accomplished our goal. I would even say we surpassed it,” Duncan concluded. The Hydro Bottle + can currently be purchased at a discounted price of $43.96. Normally priced at $54.95.

Twisters star Anthony Ramos says Tom Cruise was “losing his mind” at the recent London premiere of the movie.
Tom Cruise attended the London premiere of Twisters earlier this week, and it’s safe to say he had an absolute ball. Anthony Ramos, who stars in Twisters alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones and Glen Powell, told People that Cruise was “losing his mind” during the screening.
“Glen was sitting behind me, my brother was next to me, and Tom was behind my brother. Tom just kept hitting me the whole entire movie,” Ramo said. “After the third time I turned back around, like, ‘Yo, Tom Cruise is bugging out right now!’ He keeps hitting me.” In a normal movie-watching situation, that would be very annoying, but are you really going to tell Tom Cruise to stop hitting you because he’s so excited about your movie?
Ramos continued, “He keeps hitting me because he’s excited about different moments, and he’s laughing. He’s just laughing out loud the whole entire film. He wasn’t afraid to express himself. I was super grateful about that.” After the screening, Ramos said they “hugged it out,” adding that Cruise complimented the film. “So shout out to Tom Cruise, man. It was really cool,” Ramos said.
Glen Powell plays storm-chasing superstar Tyler Owens in Twisters and stars alongside Daisy Edgar-Jones, who plays Kate Cooper, “a former storm chaser haunted by a devastating encounter with a tornado during her college years who now studies storm patterns on screens safely in New York City. She is lured back to the open plains by her friend, Javi (Anthony Ramos) to test a groundbreaking new tracking system. There, she crosses paths with Tyler Owens (Powell), the charming and reckless social-media superstar who thrives on posting his storm-chasing adventures with his raucous crew, the more dangerous the better. As storm season intensifies, terrifying phenomena never seen before are unleashed, and Kate, Tyler and their competing teams find themselves squarely in the paths of multiple storm systems converging over central Oklahoma in the fight of their lives.” The film also stars Brandon Perea (Nope), Sasha Lane (American Honey), Daryl McCormack (Peaky Blinders), Kiernan Shipka (Chilling Adventures of Sabrina), Nik Dodani (Atypical), Katy O’Brien (Love Lies Bleeding), and Maura Tierney (Beautiful Boy).
The first reactions have been quite positive, but we can find out for ourselves when Twisters hits theaters on July 19th.

HydroCorp, an industry leader in detailed piping schematics for hospitals, proudly announces its latest collaboration with a large world-renowned clinic healthcare network. This partnership addresses significant challenges to existing piping diagrams, impacting potable water, process water, and medical gas piping management.
Having up-to-date drawings is crucial for the clinic’s engineering team in planning facility remodels and enhancements. Not understanding their existing layout could result in costly delays and impede progress. The clinic’s proactive measures ensure the stability of their essential infrastructure, staying ahead of compliance and enabling reliable piping details to augment building technologies.
“We had significant ongoing staff costs from tracking down unknown valve locations and sorting out unlabeled piping systems for projects ranging from maintenance to major wing expansion planning,” said the clinic facility manager.
Leveraging over 40 years of proven methodologies, HydroCorp’s expert team meticulously surveyed sections of the hospital's critical piping configuration. This included comprehensive visual inspections of pipes, valves, backflow preventers, and other crucial components. The conditions, safety recommendations, and details were documented in both printed and CAD formats.
"Our thorough visual surveying process led to significant enhancements in the facility’s potable water network, medical gas documentation, and emergency response preparedness," said HydroCorp CEO Chris Spain. "We are dedicated to providing the highest quality piping schematics to support daily facility and maintenance operations."
The important advancements at the clinic include:
• Enhanced Potable Water Management: Ensuring safe, clean, and dependable water supply throughout the hospital’s many facilities by accurately mapping pipe connections, valves, labeling and potentially hazardous interconnections.
• Accurate Medical Gas Piping Documentation: Improving the precision of drawings detailing system conditions, valve locations, pipe labeling, and compliance recommendations.
• Emergency Preparedness: Strengthening the hospital’s readiness for potential emergencies through detailed diagrams of critical valve locations.
HydroCorp's extensive approach ensures optimal and safe functionality, while its proactive strategy mitigates risks and extends the infrastructure lifespan.
About HydroCorp: For more than four decades, HydroCorp has been dedicated to advancing drinking water safety and compliance nationwide. Specializing in cross-connection control, backflow prevention, and detailed piping system schematics, HydroCorp stands out for its integrated use of technology and deep industry expertise. The company's commitment to excellence is reflected in its history of delivering top-tier water management solutions. For additional information, visit www.hydrocorpinc.com.
Bette Midler, who played the eldest Sanderson sister, is letting Disney know she is interested in a Hocus Pocus 3 if they hurry.
Sistaaaas! When Hocus Pocus 2 hit Disney+ in September 2022, its record-breaking viewership all but guaranteed a third entry in the family-friendly series. While it took nearly two decades for that sequel to be conjured up, those at Disney might want to get their brooms in line for Hocus Pocus 3 because the cast isn’t exactly getting younger – those are Bette Midler’s words, not mine!
Bette Midler – who plays eldest Sanderson sister Winifred – is urging the studio to take action on Hocus Pocus 3 due to age (Midler is 78). “I think if they’re gonna, they oughta, because time is not just marching, time is barrel-assing to the finish line. Get us while we’re still breathing, I mean, God!” As for if she knows anything about what a third Hocus Pocus could center on, Middler added, “I haven’t seen the script, but I’ve heard rumblings.”
Considering there’s always someone foiling the Sanderson sisters’ toil and trouble, no doubt there could be plenty for the team to work with. Writer Jen D’Angelo previously said that the mere existence of Winifred – along with, of course, Sarah and Mary – could spell all sorts of fun. “Yes, Winifred learned a very valuable lesson, she loves her sisters more than anything in the world, but she will also just immediately get distracted by whatever’s put in front of her. So if you dangle the carrot of a potential revenge against Salem, which she has always wanted, she might have a backslide where she gets singularly focused on the wrong goal again.”
And as Hocus Pocus 2 expanded on the world and characters, a third movie would certainly do the same. The introduction of the Mother Witch (played deliciously by Hannah Waddingham) offers a lot right there and it seems highly likely that, should Hocus Pocus 3 actually get made, the character will have a more prominent role. Deservedly so, I would say, considering Waddingham ate it up and looked to be having just as much fun as the original cast.
What do you think? Is it time already to move on Hocus Pocus 3 or is two enough? Give us your thoughts below!

Neon’s Longlegs is looking at a $20 million plus opening, while the $100 million Fly Me to the Moon may not even make half that.
Longlegs is living up to the hype. One of the best-reviewed horror films in years (one I went absolutely nuts over) is giving indie distributor Neon the best box office opening they’ve ever had. According to Deadline, the film is on track for a $20 million plus opening, with some thinking it could even hit the $22-23 million range. While the C+ CinemaScore is nothing to write home about, horror titles such as this one are bound to be divisive, and it’s quickly becoming a much-discussed film on social media. It’s becoming one of those movies everyone simply has to see and something horror fans can’t wait to weigh in on, whether they like it or not.
Of course, Despicable Me 4 is still going to take the top spot this weekend, with it grossing an excellent $40 million plus, but against all odds, Longlegs could come in second place over Inside Out 2, with the smash hit Pixar sequel on track for a $19-20 million weekend. If Longlegs wins, it’ll be quite the coup, but it will be a narrow win and likely will be too close to call until the official numbers drop tomorrow.
However, one new release that’s falling flat in theatres is the period rom-com Fly Me to the Moon. Despite the combined star power of Scarlett Johansson and Channing Tatum, the movie is unlikely to make much more than $10 million this weekend (which is about what I predicted earlier this week). With an A-minus CinemaScore, it’s clear that audiences are liking the film, so what gives? Simple – this is an Apple Original Films production, so savvy audiences know the movie will be streaming before long. People won’t shell out cash for something they know they can watch on a streaming service in just a few weeks unless it’s an event. While this seems like a charming rom-com, it’s also the kind of movie folks don’t mind waiting for. Industry forecasters will bemoan the $100 million budget and call it a flop. Still, in reality, these theatrical runs are almost just publicity for the eventual streaming release, where it should rake in plenty of views.
We’ll be back with the full box office report tomorrow, but in the meantime, what did you see this weekend?
