Cannibal stories are a tough nut to crack as they automatically turn off a large part of the audience just from their central concept. Yet, as proven by shows such as Santa Clarita Diet, there is still an audience for them. Adapted from the hit podcast, The Horror of Dolores Roach also takes a ton of inspiration from Sweeney Todd. If you know anything about that story, then it’s fairly easy to see where Dolores Roach goes during its runtime. And there are many satisfying twists and turns along the way to keep you interested. But it’s the performances that really make the show stand out. So I was excited to be able to chat with stars Justina Machado, Alejandro Hernadez, Kita Updike, and K.
